No. The river is dam-controlled and excess water is released from the dam before heavy rainfall. The river remains safe for rafting operations.

How long is the rafting trip?

The adventure lasts approximately 3.5 to 4 hours including lunch. Travel time to the river is about 45 minutes each way.

Is there a lot of paddling involved?

No. The river flows quickly on its own. The first half features exciting whitewater rapids, while the second half is primarily a scenic float trip with only a few smaller rapids.

Will I get wet and cold during the rafting trip?

You will get wet while rafting. Water temperatures are typically warmer than nearby rivers, and waterproof jackets and pants are available when needed.

What happens if bad weather is in the forecast?
