We take you through 3 phases of instruction, 1.Emphasizing safety, 2.Building self-confidence and 3. Learning respect for the mountain.
- Our trip is suitable for anyone over age 10 and you must weigh at least 100 lbs.… and like we said —you don’t need ANY experience.
- Trips meet at 9:30AM and return around 4:00PM, but you need a reservation!
Where We Go
We take you to the Little Lost Cove Cliffs in the Wilson Creek Wilderness Area and the views of Grandfather mountain alone are worth the trip. Transportation, all equipment, your lunch and guides are included. Speaking of lunch, it’s a fully home cooked meal made fresh that morning. You’ll be stuffed with April’s World Famous Fried Chicken Lunch, honey basted biscuits, our own special trail mix blend and a surprise dessert, all made fresh that morning. People come back year after year just to eat the lunch!
